Residents in Harpurhey took part in a tasty six week cooking course and learned how to make low cost, healthy meals in an air fryer.
Vikki Barry, Jigsaw’s Neighbourhood Engagement Officer, organised the course along with Clippy’s Cooking Company in which a total of 10 people took part.
The sessions aimed to tackle the cost of living crisis and helped people use the least amount of energy while cooking. Every person who completed the course received an air fryer to allow them to continue to reduce their energy usage at home.
Any resident in North Manchester can request to be put on the waiting list for the next cooking class.
