The Moss Side Fund is an initiative that was launched in 2020 in response to a number of tragic events which took place in the region, including the coronavirus pandemic.
The partnership has pooled its resources to provide funding and support for community initiatives in the Moss Side and Hulme neighbourhoods. This will help strengthen the local community and allow groups and organisations to grow and bring their own project ideas to life.
Who can apply for the Moss Side Fund?
The fund is open to existing constituted organisations working in Moss Side and Hulme
Informal groups and individuals are also welcome to apply, but they will need to do so with the support of an existing organisation.
What is available?
The fund was set up to provide grants of between £500 and £10,000 to community projects and partnerships. The initial round of funding applications came to a close in December 2020 and the funding applications are being considered.

As part of the partnership of housing providers in Moss Side, Manchester, Jigsaw Group periodically sends out an email newsletter to partners, councillors, service providers and community leaders in the Moss Side and Hulme area. This includes important information for Moss Side residents such as updates about COVID-19 testing and vaccination, community events, jobs and volunteer opportunities, and funding opportunities.
