Tackling Fuel Poverty in our Neighbourhoods

Tackling Fuel Poverty in our Neighbourhoods

More than 160 residents have been helped to tackle the rising cost of energy bills, with a series of fuel poverty awareness days in line with National Energy Action.

National Energy Action is a charity that aims to end fuel poverty in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and ensure that everyone feels safe and warm at home.

Jigsaw’s Neighbourhood Engagement Team hosted a series of events for residents across Ashton, Crumpsall, Dukinfield, Oldham, Harpurhey, Gorton, Cedar Park, Audenshaw and the Midlands where we handed out winter warmer packs and provided vital energy advice.

The events ran throughout November and December and our Neighbourhoods team plans to run more sessions across our communities in February 2024.
