Jigsaw’s Neighbourhood Engagement Team organised several tasty five-week cook and eat courses for residents in Manchester to learn how to cook with an air fryer.
The courses, which ran from June to November, were delivered by Michelle McKenna from Clippys at the Harpurhey Neighbourhood Centre. She taught different ways to use an air fryer to prepare nutritional and affordable meals.
The classes also helped to support those struggling with the cost of living by teaching them to create low-cost meals while boosting their confidence, mental health and educational skills.
Following on from the sessions, Jigsaw have also provided a Food Hygiene Level 2 course among other training opportunities for residents to attend.
