Jigsaw Support Helps Residents Get Snugg

Jigsaw Support’s Springboard service teamed up with Snugg Homes to gift residents with brand new furniture to help furnish their new homes.

Jigsaw’s shared ownership provider  Snugg wanted to provide a helping hand to residents in need and that any unused, ex showhome furniture went to a better home. Working with the Jigsaw Support Springboard team together they helped to find suitable recipients.

A total of five Springboard residents were in the process of moving on into independent accommodation, and had little or no furniture or household items.

Plans were put into action to help furnish their homes in time for moving in day, with pieces that they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to afford including a bed, wardrobes, sofas, coffee tables and kitchen and bathroom essentials.

Resident Sean McDonagh, said: “The furniture I have received has turned my flat into a home, which would not have been possible without your donations. A credit to yourselves and Jigsaw, thank you so much for everything”.

Adam Treasure, Operations Manager – Jigsaw Support (Springboard Partnership), said: “A massive thank you to everyone involved in making this happen; Gemma Patterson, Mark Turner, Owen Ratcliffe and Dave Tither.  And thank you again to the entire Snugg Homes team, not only for gifting the items but also for funding the transport costs.  This was a great team effort and the support was greatly appreciated.”
