Mulbury Homes have submitted plans for a new £4.1m Jigsaw Group development that will occupy a three-acre site off Grange Lane in Winsford.
Under the plans, the development would comprise 19 semi-detached homes of two and three bedrooms, and 20 one- and two-bedroom “cottage-style” apartments. The site, previously used as a builder’s yard and commercial premises, sits between existing homes on Grange Lane and playing fields belonging to the Winsford Academy school.
Future residents would access the site off Grange Lane, arriving into a cul-de-sac. Most of the mature trees to the site boundary will be retained as part of the landscaping plan and all homes would have rear gardens and off-road parking.
Working with Widnes based Mulbury Homes, we aim to start on site in January with completion scheduled in spring 2022. Greg Mulligan, co-founder and director at Mulbury, said:
“This is a great opportunity to provide well-built affordable homes in Winsford. The development has been carefully designed to be sensitive to existing homes in the area and will bring a fresh look to this dilapidated site.”
Joanne Bonnington, assistant director of development at Jigsaw Group, added:
“Jigsaw has an ambitious plan for developing new high quality, affordable properties across the North West in order to help alleviate the housing crisis in the region.”
